Fun Activites around Skyloft
The Statue of the Goddess
This particular Statue of the Goddess is the largest and most prominent mark of religion in Skyloft, made in honor of the goddess Hylia. It is located on the Isle of the Goddess, connected to the other islands by a wooden staircase. The statue depicts the goddess Hylia, who raised Skyloft from the Surface into the heavens in order to save the humans
The ritual after the Wing Ceremony takes place at the top of the statue, wherein the winner playing the role of the chosen hero and the maiden playing the role of the goddess offer the Bird Statuette to the goddess. Loftwing Riding
It is a custom in Skyloft for full time residents to have their own Loftwing, which is a symbol of the divine protection granted by the Goddess Hylia. A Loftwing and its rider have a special connection, as Skyloftians consider themselves to be one half of a pair until they are made whole by the Loftwings. Loftwings cannot fly during the nighttime since they have a terrible night vision, and only those which have been specially trained can fly in the dark.
Should you travel to Skyoft, some of the residents have begun to let others ride loftwings as one might take a boat ride in other areas of the world. Prices, locations, and times are available below.
